    Job Title: Senior Overhead & Underground Distribution Systems Inspector

    Location: Field, location varies by job

    Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, not contract

    Salary Range: $40.00 - $65.00 / hour Base* 

    Travel: Regional Travel, 100% of the time

    *(compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors)

    Position Overview: Act as the client representative, performing field quality assurance / quality control checks of contractor installations and restorations on overhead and underground distribution systems. 


    Responsibilities Include:

    • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment, and systems of work for self and all employees, and to participate in training as needed for this purpose.

    • Work independently or in a crew to inspect and perform contact voltage testing on overhead and underground electrical systems. 

    • Maintain quality control targets matching clients’ expectations while meeting productivity levels. 

    • Accurately recording field data via client software-based systems.

    • Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment.

    • Work collaboratively with the Lead Inspector and Inspector team.

    • Be familiar with basic electrical testing equipment including: DVM meters, Contract Voltage Testers, Gas Analyzers, Infrared Cameras, and other equipment.

    • Have relevant work experience in overhead and underground distribution equipment, infrastructure, materials, construction standards and be able to identify defects and deficiencies which create safety and reliability concerns.

    • Understand the project scope, cost drivers and milestone targets, and report delays or discrepancies.

    • Assess the health of utility assets and equipment as they relate to the utility inspection program.

    • Identify and acquire electric utility industry materials and equipment, if needed.

    • Occasional storm response support may be required (could be multiple days at distant locations). 

    Position Requirements:

    • Associate’s degree in construction or engineering technology, or vocational trade school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • At least five (5) years’ experience in the electrical construction industry or power utilities field.

    • Must be able to use a computer, tablet, and operate other office equipment – Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

    • Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record.

    • This position is in the field. Must be able to walk distribution lines or remote transmission right of ways for long distances.

    • Must be able to work underground in tight spaces such as manholes and service boxes.  

     

    Preferred: 

    • Graduated from an Electrical Lineworker Program through accredited school.

    • Certified Journeyman Lineman a plus Bachelor’s degree a plus.

    Job Title: On-Demand Wire Guard

    Location: Must mobilize to affected area

    Job Type: Hourly, On-Demand, Non-exempt

    Salary Range: $35.00 / hour Base* 

    Travel: Regional and State-wide Travel, 100% of the time

    *(We offer mileage reimbursement, meal stipends and overnight expenses as part of our compensation package)

    Position Overview: NorPro, LLC. is looking for candidates to support Wire Guard duties during large storm events. Candidates will be trained in the knowledge of distribution electric construction and its components, as well as electric safety.


    Duties + Requirements:

    • Assist with the safe barricade and supervision of down wires

    • Ability to assess situations and various classifications of wire (training provided)

    • Follow reporting protocols associated with wire down management

    • Remaining onsite until the situation is determined to be safe

    • Must possess a valid driver's license

    • Utilize personal vehicle

    Job Title: On-Demand Damage Assessor

    Location: Must mobilize to affected area

    Job Type: Hourly, On-Demand, Non-exempt

    Salary Range: $45.00 / hour Base* 

    Travel: Regional and State-wide Travel, 100% of the time

    Position Overview: NorPro, LLC. is looking for candidates with electric utility experience to support damage assessment duties during large storm events. Damage assessment is a useful activity for identifying damage caused by severe weather and is an important step toward effective restoration. 


    Duties + Requirements:

    • Candidates must have knowledge of distribution electric construction and its components, as well as electric safety.

    • Identification and categorization of equipment damage and specific location. 

    • Assess severity of wire down conditions, standby downed power lines until relieved by a Wire Guard. 

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in utility distribution or transmission systems (Journeyman Linemen, Engineers, or operations)

    • Must be physically capable of walking out power line right of way under various weather and terrain conditions as described in the above position description.

    • Must be able to identify primary and secondary electrical facilities including poles, primary wires, secondary wires, services, primary insulators, transformers, fuses, reclosers, substations, etc.

    Job Title: Field Construction Manager (FCM)

    Location: Job may be performed in an office or field environment

    Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, not contract

    Salary Range: $40.00 - $65.00 / hour Base* 

    Travel: Regional Travel, 50 – 75% of the time

    *(compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors)

    Position Overview: Perform field quality assurance/quality control checks of contractor installations and restorations. Be the Client Representative and main point of contact for electric engineering, material management, line operations, electric contractor and customers for resolving open issues. Responsible for developing (participating in recruitment, vetting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding), managing, and overseeing Site Supervision as they coordinate the daily activities and assigned work at various customer locations to assure high standards of safety and quality compliance delivering an on-time, within budget service.


    Responsibilities Include:

    • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment, and systems of work for self and all employees, and to participate in training as needed for this purpose.

    • Oversee site supervision for construction and commissioning of distribution, transmission, and substation projects.

    • Align resource needs (training, experience, travel) with available skill sets to optimize team performance.

    • Identify resource gaps and address through development or strategic hiring.

    • Manage performance of contractors and outsourced companies to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

    • Review, evaluate, and recommend contracts and agreements affecting project execution.

    • Lead timely issue resolution and coordinate activities across all project stakeholders.

    • Integrate construction management into all project phases, ensuring schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met.

    • Ensure site supervisors manage resources effectively within scope, budget, and timeline.

    • Coordinate with Project Management for material procurement and handling plans.

    • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly construction reports as required.

    • Review work packets for cost and efficiency improvements.

    • Monitor project scope, cost drivers, milestones, and report any delays or discrepancies.

    • Verify completed work for quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications.

    • Assess utility asset health and ensure compliance with safety management systems (EHASPs, JSAs).

    • Identify and procure necessary utility materials and equipment.

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Obtain required client certifications (Clearance & Control, Switching & Tagging).

    • Initiate outage requests and support FCCs in project coordination.

    • Travel regionally (50–75%) and participate in storm response as needed.

    • Fill in for Site Supervision roles during absences or transitions.

    • Any other duties as assigned by manager

    Position Requirements: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of experience in transmission and distribution systems, underground networks and substation field construction experience. Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Project). Knowledge of SAP preferred.
