We are uniquely qualified to support any utility emergency response effort. Our storm support staff has extensive experience managing and coordinating electrical contractor storm crews with restoration work, regulatory compliance, and documentation.

When a storm event occurs, NorPro provides our utility customers with damage assessments critical to establishing their restoration plans. Damage assessments gather data of significant damage or heavily damaged areas including photographs and written reports.
Wire Guards provided by NorPro mark out and guard any areas where power lines may be hanging or laying on the ground. They are responsible for making sure the dangerous area is not entered until qualified line workers arrive to make repairs.

Inspections, Contact Voltage Testing, & Post Construction Audits
NorPro provides utility operating companies with overhead and underground distribution inspections along with CV (contact voltage) testing to comply with commission orders. NorPro’s professional team of inspector’s primary focus will be on high quality inspections. Quality inspection creates efficiency by identifying accurate maintenance repairs/replacement, lowering operating expense by avoiding unnecessary maintenance repairs or asset replacement for the utility and contributing to the success of clients.
NorPro’s professional team of inspector’s experience also lends itself to identify accurately the condition of the asset and troubleshooting any stray voltage conditions encountered. As for quantity, this will remain a focus to meet targeted productivity levels to successfully complete the annual requirements and be within the client’s budget.
